Winter
My feet crunched against the hard frozen leaves. I looked around, trying to get a mental sense of where I was. The helicopter took off. Having dropped me in this strange place. There were tall frosty pines stretching around me; left, right and centre. Spiky bushes attacked me as I started my descent through the sea of bracken. I pushed away brambles, the vicious blades slicing my clothes and skin, cutting me horribly. Finally I managed to pull myself to the other side, only to find a stretch of dark murky swampland. The water was cold and bitter to touch. I took a deep breath, and waded in.
